Graham Stanley, General Manager, Community Futures Stuart Nechako, Joins NCFA’s Ambassador Program
TORONTO, ON June 9, 2015 – The National Crowdfunding Association of Canada (NCFA Canada) today announced that Graham Stanley, General Manager, Community Futures Stuart Nechako, has joined the Association’s Crowdfunding Ambassadors Program.
“Graham brings years of practical experience overseeing the development of community-based economic strategies and investment funds for entrepreneurial businesses starting or expanding their ventures. We're highly pleased that Graham is committed to sharing his expertise with the wider community and look forward to his participation in various initiatives", said Craig Asano, Executive Director of the National Crowdfunding Association of Canada.

Crowdfunding Ambassadors (CFAs) are leaders, educators, supporters and advocates of an inclusive and broad-based crowdfunding industry in communities across Canada. They are circles of influence and ‘go to resources’ for small businesses and investors to connect with, share and learn about crowdfunding via locally hosted events and initiatives. CFAs are specialists and plugged into an international network of shared resources, thought leadership, and industry professionals striving to cultivate and shape the future of crowdfunding in Canada and beyond.

Graham has been the General Manager of Community Futures Stuart Nechako located in Vanderhoof, BC. Graham has an extensive background in Banking and Finance as well as experience in small business. Community Futures is a national economic development organization mandated to provide loans and business counselling to rural Canada. Community Futures Stuart Nechako operates a crowdfunding platform “investlocalbc.ca” created to match local projects to local investors.
