Jenny Tcharnaia, Advisory Committee
Jenny Tcharnaia is the Co-Founder and CFO of triMirror, a Toronto-based start-up. triMirror’s virtual fitting room (www.youtube.com/user/triMirrorTV) uses the first real-time solution in the world that allows the try-on of real clothes on real-dimensioned and highly customizable avatar bodies, and which allows the user to see where the garment is tight or loose, where it juts out or sags down, and how it behaves when they move around in various ways. Jenny is responsible for the general strategy of the company, new company projects, business development, strategic partnerships, media and investor relations, capital fundraising, and financial planning. She has represented triMirror in multiple international and high-profile pitch competitions.
Prior to co-founding triMirror, Jenny held the position of Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc., where she provided transaction advisory services relating to mergers and acquisitions, valuations, divestitures, and financing engagements in various industries, and for which she received the GTA Ernst & Young Orenda Transaction Advisory Services Recognition Award for exceptional client service. In university, she completed internships at RBC Dominion Securities and at Ernst & Young Orenda.
Jenny holds a bachelor of international business administration with distinction from the Schulich School of Business at York University with a specialization in Finance, and completed an exchange at in Paris, France as part of her program. She has passed all three levels of the CFA Program in June 2012.
