What is crowdfunding, and how does it work?

Below is a valuable collection of crowdfunding, alternative finance and fintech (financial technology) resources including document attachments (where possible) and links.  Please help build the content by contributing articles, blogs or white paper documents and also recommending useful content for posting (casano@ncfacanada.org).

The crowdfunding industry is emerging and evolving rapidly in Canada and internationally.  The more we can collectively share our resources and networks, the greater we can educate the various stakeholders (investors, entrepreneurs, industry etc.), associations and affiliate groups of the crowdfunding industry at large.
