Christopher Charlesworth, CEO and Co-founder of HiveWire, Joins National Crowdfunding Association of Canada’s Advisory Board

Scott Loong is an associate at Ferst Capital Partners (FCP), a Fintech foundry and venture capital fund based in Montreal, Quebec.
Previous to joining with FCP, Scott worked as a business lawyer specializing in the areas of private equity, venture capital, corporate finance and M&A. He is active in the field of start-up business with a particular emphasis on the interaction between technology and the insurance sector. Scott holds a masters degree in business administration (MBA) from McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management as well as civil and common law degrees from McGill’s Faculty of Law.
Before his career in private legal practice, Scott worked in the legal department of a multinational aerospace corporation as well as the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. Scott is an enthusiastic supporter of the start-up community in Montreal and is keenly interested in the crowd funding movement across the county. He practices law in English and French and hopes to contribute a Quebec perspective to the activities of the NCFA.
