The buzz around new technology makes it easy to get excited about the future, but how do you know what type of technology you should try next? Marketing plays a big role in helping us find new gadgets and services to try, which in turn boosts adoption rates, as we can see in the following examples.

Crypto Casinos Offer a Variety of Deals

Cryptocurrencies have now been around for a long time yet a report from 2023 showed that just 10% of Canadians owned Bitcoin, which was down from 13% a couple of years earlier. Crypto exchanges make it easy for newcomers to get started by offering welcome bonuses or referral codes. You may have noticed that the Montreal Canadiens were sponsored by a crypto firm a couple of years ago, which was part of a trend for these platforms to enter the sports world as a way of raising their profile.

Finding ways to spend their virtual tokens remains an issue for new crypto owners, which is why the emergence of casinos with free bonus offers can help adoption rates. This site has a range of tournaments with prize pools that members can join. In terms of games, it includes classics like slots, baccarat, and blackjack, with live-streamed dealers adding to the feeling of cutting-edge technology being used.

Free to Use AI

The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has been one of the key technology stories in the last couple of years. It’s been introduced to users in a variety of ways, such as allowing them to ask questions, write poems, and create images just by typing in a simple phrase. Many of these services have initially been offered free, with some mentioning a free trial period before a subscription is required.

Amazon has shown how AI could be gradually introduced into our lives while ramping up its revenue. The Alexa assistant is set to be enhanced by AI, with a monthly subscription said to be somewhere between $5 and $10 monthly. The new version is to be called Remarkable Alexa and there will still be a free version, known as Classic Alexa, that uses AI to a lesser degree. Expect to see other services gradually phase in paid AI services as AI becomes a more important part of our lives.

Clever Product Placement

Apple provides us with some of the best examples of technology product placement. It makes sure that iPhones and Macs are only put into the hands of characters and situations it wants to be associated with. Reports in 2023 confirmed that Apple is the brand that has the most product placements in movies and TV shows, with over 3,000 counted at the time of the survey putting them well ahead of Coca-Cola in second place.

These marketing techniques should continue to encourage more people to try the latest technology. With the pace of change set to continue or increase, they also provide us with useful ways of seeing what’s currently available and maybe trying something that we might not have been aware of otherwise.
