Crowdfunding Ambassadors (CFAs) are leaders, educators, supporters and advocates of an inclusive and broad-based crowdfunding industry in communities across Canada. They are circles of influence and ‘go to resources’ for small businesses and investors to connect with, share and learn about crowdfunding via locally hosted events and initiatives. CFAs are specialists and plugged into an international network of shared resources, thought leadership, and industry professionals striving to cultivate and shape the future of crowdfunding in Canada and beyond.

“Shahab is an advocate of innovation and entrepreneurship with a ton of research and consulting experience that will help advance and support the growth of the Canadian Crowdfunding industry on multiple levels from his base in Ottawa,” said Craig Asano, Executive Director of NCFA Canada

Shahab Khan has completed a tremendous amount of work in the innovation and entrepreneurship arenas through CANARIE, Newbridge Networks, Bell Canada and at Innovapost as well as been a key driver of Bell Canada's Innovation Centre program which involved many partners (including Terry Matthew’s and his Wesley Clover group of companies).   He has conducted workshops and speaking engagements as well as provided strategic and implementation expertise to venture capital organizations, consulting firms, federal departments, crown corporations, startups, and incubators. He is a Mentor at Invest Ottawa and Incubes and an Advisory Board Member of the Canadian eCommerce Challenge.
