Shidan Gouran is the founder of Gulf Pearl, a private merchant bank focused on the information and communications technology, media and gaming sectors. He was one of the earliest proponents and investors in blockchain technology. Prior to being a financier, he was a serial entrepreneur who founded ventures in the telecommunications and consumer electronics industries. Shidan studied Pure Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Western Ontario.
