Karen Contet is passionate about Tech and entrepreneurship, co-founder & CEO of AngelHub - only SFC-licensed tech investment platform - co-founder of WHub.io - startup ecosystem builder and power connector - and a founding board member of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong.
Just a few numbers: over 18 months, AngelHub has assessed over 1,500 tech companies and made 9 investments from SeriesA up to unicorn level companies. WHub is the biggest tech power connector in the region, having organized worldwide tech conferences with over 48,000 participants, 5 hackathons, 15 job fairs, and over 2,000 events.

Karen is an international speaker (Startup Impact Summit, Vivatech, InspireFest, RISE, JSConf), a French Foreign Trade Advisor, ambassador of the FrenchTech, community leader for Techstars and mentor for several accelerator programs. Karen has been working in Asia for 13 years, starting in Tokyo as JP Morgan Exotic Equity Derivatives Trader to Software Engineer for an IoT Startup and teaching Front-End Web Development.

Karen has a double degree engineering diploma (France EPF - Canada ETS) and Master in Finance International from HEC Paris.
