In response to receiving a high volume of questions pertaining to the current status of equity crowdfunding regulations in Canada, NCFA is crowdsourcing a list of the most popular FAQs that we will host/maintain on the site (together with accurate and responses).
The goal is to get a tight set of Q&A to help educate NCFA members and others on the current state of equity crowdfunding in Canada, as well as the pros/cons of a potential exemption.

Hi Jacqui, thanks for the follow-up. We have answers to your questions! and have been working on the FAQ answers internally. The content has blossomed into a 40 page document that we are planning to make some of it available in our standard html FAQ with a more extensive version being available at a nominal premium content fee. I was really happy to find NCFA and then deeply disappointed when I realized that the FAQ consisted only of questions so far!
How about some answers for that initial set of questions? Do you mean to tell your audience that you do NOT have ANY of this information? In that case, I don’t think the public is the right place to go for answers – some of this information has to come from the government and I can’t see them simply start posting here!
