The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance and Financial Innovation for Impact host the AI in Financial Services 2026 Global Report launch on April 28, a live virtual event focused on AI adoption, value creation, and oversight across financial services. NCFA supports the initiative as a survey partner, helping extend the reach of a global effort that tracks how financial institutions and fintechs are putting AI to work in real operating environments.
Date: April 28, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM BST (9:00 AM EDT)
Format: Live virtual webinar on Zoom
Register: You can register here for the virtual event (FREE)
The session brings together senior voices from global finance, policy, and financial infrastructure to discuss what the data shows and what it means for the years ahead. For fintech founders, operators, investors, and financial institutions, this is a useful chance to hear how AI is being applied across the sector, where value is starting to show up, and how oversight is evolving as adoption deepens.
The session is moderated by Agustín Carstens, former General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements and former Governor of the Bank of Mexico.
Welcome remarks come from Bryan Zhang, Co Founder and Executive Chair, Financial Innovation for Impact, Co Founder and Executive Director, Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, and Kieran Garvey, AI Lead, CCAF and Fii.
This event offers a timely look at how AI is moving deeper into financial services and how leaders across the sector are thinking about deployment, value, and governance. As AI evolves from pilots into core systems, those questions matter more for product design, operating efficiency, customer experience, and risk management.
